There's lots of talk of recession in the United States, and many folks are responding to the warnings by cutting back on, or reducing, expenses. One expense that can be devastating is health care costs for your pet, especially if they receive a diagnosis of a life threatening disease.

Since insurance companies don't cover pre-existing conditions, it might be worthwhile to investigate the growing number of pet insurance policies that are coming into the market.

While this article focuses primarily on the job market for those interested in selling pet insurance, there are some interesting statistics that are worth learning about, including the industry's response to consumers looking for policies that are less restrictive, more affordable, and address the concerns they have for their pet's care in case of a serious health issue.
