Thu, 09/18/2008 - 16:43

Ever wondered how to ensure you ask the right questions when deciding on a pet sitter? Well, here are some questions you don't want to be shy about asking. The full article will tell you why. A couple of tidbits include:

  • Is the person insured and bonded? "This is very important since having a 'license' usually means they have only a business license," Bernadette says. Make sure you see a copy of each of these things.
  • Does the sitter have a back-up person in case he or she gets sick, has a personal emergency or wants to take a vacation? Are the back-ups professional caregivers or just friends?
