Cat poo area in garden safe for planting things?
The poo area for our cat has been cleaned out since she died last month, but I am worried that there could be issues with the soil. I know cat poo isnt like other kinds of animals poo.
Is this area safe, or should I just let it go through a season and then plant stuff.
I dont need to plant vegetables, I could do flowers, but even so, I dont want cat poo bacteria to get into the plants and make us sick!

Toxoplasmosis
The cat poo could possibly contain Toxoplasmosis, which is very dangerous for children and pregnant women. If you cleaned out all the existing cat poo, then you should be ok. Just wear gloves, and do not touch your face when gardening. If you have a reason to suspect your vegetables getting contaminated, you can still eat them, just make sure you cook them thoroughly first. Cooking will remove most harmful bacteria.
