Chesapeake older dog BIT my young dog in the chops!

So now what do I do? I am not sure if I should just clean out the bite mark and then use neosporin? Is there any doggy diseases that can cause some serious infection for the pup? The puppy is six months old and crazy as all hell. The big dog got sick of him jumping on him.
