Duck has breathing issue
Our duck Pete is not feeling well, he acts like he has a respitory infection or that he has something stuck in his throat. What do I do besides taking him to the vet that costs way too much?

Antibiotics for ducks with breathing problem
There is a good product that is used for general bacterial infections called aureomycin and terramycin. I hope I am spelling that right, but basically it can be found in powder form in feed stores. you add it to their water supply and make them stay on it for -10 days. You can even buy it on amazon.com. There is also the solution of taking them to the vet and having a shot of Baytril or Tylan 200. I am not a doctor, just a bit of a farmer on my own land. I use the terramycin and it works well for us.
Let me know what happens, and good luck.
