Parrot is squawking all day long, I can't stand it!
The squawking is enough to make me want to set it loose in that park somewhere near the Golden Gate! Let everyone else listen to the bird- I cant take it anymore! I need some help. Ideas?

What kind of parrot is it? Does the behavior continue when you are not around at all? There are some types of parrots that are known to be squawkers. Honestly, a lot of birds screech constantly. It is kind of like a flock call. Your bird probably considers you as part of the flock, so he or she is trying to get you back to the flock. A few ways to help the situation might be to get another parrot of the same breed to keep each other company. Another quick fix is to cover the cage, but I highly disagree with this one. You should not punish your pet for a behavior that is only natural to it.

Cover the cage for some relief! Then open it when you are not home. Ask the vet what else you can do....
