Which variety chicken is good for eggs and as a pet?

Which variety chicken is good for eggs and as a pet?
Sustainable farming at home- so which kinda chicken is a good one and should I get a pair- do they get lonely?

Delawares, or Indian Rivers,
Delawares, or Indian Rivers, are great for big eggs and friendly- also good at avoiding predators.
Plymouth Rock are also nice too, very friendly and nice egss. Rhode Island Red is my fav because mine is such a good pet, but smaller eggs. Our chicken follows me everywhere I go and she never gets broody.
