Butch a 150 year old desert tortoise who mysteriously went missing from his Cupertino, California home over 6 weeks ago, surprisingly showed up yesterday in the front yard of his home. It was suspected that Butch was stolen and may have been returned because of the publicity his disappearence generated.
"He wasn't wrapped but having him back home is like an early Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and birthday all rolled into one," said an ecstatic Penny Carle, who along with her husband, Chuck, took over as Butch's caretaker when his elderly owner died this summer.
