
As election day approaches in the United States, an Ohio Humane Society and radio station have introduced a voting booth of a different sort to help determine who the "winner" should be next Tuesday.
By providing two kitty litter boxes - one red and one
blue, for each sheltered kitty's use, the cats are voting on a
(hopefully) daily basis on their "choice" for president.
A "ballot" dropped in a blue box is for Obama, and one in the red box will be counted for McCain. Sponsored by The Capital Area Humane Society in Columbus, Ohio, and WBNS-FM, the latest tally is very close, and updates will continue as this is "a political movement that really counts."
Let's make sure we supplement the Kitty Caucus with the more traditional style of voting on Tuesday!
