Draped with a red white and blue bandanna, Ratchet a puppy rescued from a trash pile in war torn Iraq, landed on US soil yesterday after being successfully adopted by Army Spc. Gwen Beberg of Minneapolis.
"I'm very excited that Ratchet will be waiting for me when I get home from Iraq! Words can't describe it," Beberg said in an e-mail to friends and family.
