
A community on the coast of the beautiful San Francisco peninsula has been dealing with dogs finding marijuana and then doing what dogs do - eating it. While it takes a large amount of pot to be fatal, the symptoms of a "high" dog are not all that funny when it's not clear what's going on.
“I was frightened,” Laura Hansen, pictured here, said. “I thought he was poisoned, so I rushed him to the vet.”
Once the diagnosis came in, there was a bit of relief. “When I found out Ben was just stoned, it was kind of funny,” she said. “The vet up there said he sees three dogs a week that get into their owners’ stash.”
